Known as golden milk, or moon milk, this is essentially a spicy chai, ground from whole dried turmeric and ginger root and black peppercorn with sweet cardamom, clove, and cinnamon for that familiar Chai taste and even more ayurvedic benefits. Turmeric is believed to have anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and perhaps even anticancer properties. Some studies* suggest that the curcumin in turmeric may ease symptoms of osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis, stabilize some cancers, protect against some types of skin diseases, Alzheimer's, colitis, stomach ulcers, and high cholesterol. It may also help to treat upset stomach, scabies, diabetes, HIV, uveitis, and viral infections. *These are unproven statements based on preliminary lab studies, but years of traditional use and preliminary testing show encouraging results.

Originally developed to steep in a milk type product, it can also be brewed with green, black, or red teas for a delicious Chai flavor.
Served warm for a restful night’s sleep, or iced for a refreshing beverage, this beverage will surely change how you think about natural remedies.
Use the spent spices in smoothies (if you have a ninja or other high-power blender) or bone broths (be sure to strain) for even more healing goodness.
